Good news for Australian coffee with the results from major coffee bean awards last weekend announced and Mareeba’s Skybury Coffee beans get a gold gong
The taste of Skybury coffee beans has won a gold medal in Best Australian Coffee for Jasper Coffee at the 2008 Golden Bean awards held over the weekend. Jasper, a Melbourne based roaster, blender and retailer, has been marketing Skybury coffee for over 15 years and owner Wells Trenfield is brimming with excitement over the future of the winning Skybury blend. Hotel Application Lodged
Skybury Coffee has lodged a Development Application with Mareeba Shire Council seeking preliminary approval for a major resort style hotel at the Skybury Coffee Plantation. The hotel would contain 170 rooms, with associated conference facilities. A day spa would also form part of the development.
